My name is Simon Merrett. I have been an IT professional for over 25 years, and first used a spreadsheet (Supercalc) in the 1980’s. There was no mouse, and part of the process was to tell the computer which cell you wanted to use!
I have been using Excel at an expert level (advanced formulae and the Excel programming language) for over 15 years.
One of the things I love about Excel is its flexibility. It allows the user to solve a wide range of problems, from straightforward to complex.
At the same time, whether straightforward or complex, it can still be powerful.
